Legacy Bloom Capital was founded by Keleisha Carter, a Jamaican immigrant who entered real estate without institutional backing, traditional financing, or a background in investing.
Starting as an out-of-state fix-and-flip investor during COVID — while working 80+ hours a week in the restaurant industry — she learned firsthand what happens when capital is difficult to access and even harder to protect.
After being repeatedly turned away by banks, Keleisha began partnering with individuals who had capital but didn’t want to be hands-on in real estate. Deal by deal, she structured and managed investor capital with one guiding principle: there must always be a clear path to getting it back.
That principle became the foundation of Legacy Bloom Capital — a real estate debt platform built to protect capital first, then grow it responsibly.
